A breast cancer diagnosis affects the whole family. Families of breast cancer survivors need support too. "As a single Mom, it was a struggle to balance parenting while managing treatment and low energy levels and limited income", says Pamela Weems.

 

Pamela started Rebel With a Cause - named after her grandson, Rebel - to 'snackraise' for her own children and the kids in her neighborhood who've come to rely on her for mentorship, support...and snacks! The program also supports the children of breast cancer patients.

 

Our goal is to launch a food shelf for survivors, their children and broader network, to be able to come 'shop' for healthy snacks and resources.
